Jörn J. Burmester came to performance art through independent theatre and studying Applied Theatre Studies in Gießen and New York City. Still mobile between genres, today he usually takes performance art in all its manifestations as the vantage point for his explorations. He devises and shows solo works and collaborates with a variety of partners and groups all over the world. Among his interests are the use of language as a material, chance operations and participatory practices.
Voluntary work on organization and criticism of performance art are integral parts of his performative practice. Burmester is the founder and host of Performer Stammtisch, a Berlin network of performance artists, a co-founder of the Month of Performance Art – Berlin MPA–B and of the Association for Performance Art in Berlin – APAB e.V.

http://radiovassiviere.com/category/musicales/penelope/

After my art studies I came to name “sculpture” what I had been doing since my childhood: a way for experimentation of the reality. The main material I use is an invisible one: sound. Most of the machines made for sound doesn't fit to my needs but I design my own machines and I turn normal machines into weird ones. Since 1993 I show sculptures in collective and personnal exhibitions and instant-sculptures in performances event and in the street, at different places in Europe and a bit beyond.

Amy Joyce Klement - USA

The various SoToDo performance congresses that I’ve participated in over the past 17 years have seen me swinging from a crane as a live piñata, pulling a bloody flag from my pussy, burning “American spirit,” questioning the meaning of mermaids, baking cookies and telling fairytales, crocheting the world in 72 hours and then destroying it, calculating the prime numbers between 5000 and zero, being made into a live paper mache sculpture . . .

Performance for me—and for this I must also thank Theo di Ricco and all the other inspiring performance artists that I’ve met along the way—is the chance to push boundaries, to take ideas to their natural or unnatural extremes, and to question the structures, or strictures, within which we live.

Amy J. Klement (* 1968 in New Jersey, in Berlin since 1997) is a concept, craft-based, and performance artist. Her solo performances and collaborative work with the Open Space Performunion have been presented at numerous performance festivals and events in Europe, the United States, Canada, and Asia since 2000.

fb.: Mushimaru Fujieda

She is a Butoh Dancer, Improvisation Performance Artist
resonating with the unknown, unseen, unnamed.
Encountering with hidden lives in us through body and dance beyond visible world.
Exploring in between right and wrong, darkness and lightness, you and me…
Body resonance to touch our nature, pure existence.

She had created performances, workshops with Subbody Butoh School (India) for 5 years since 2012. Since 2013, has been spreading to Europe, Canada, India, Korea with Resonance Butoh Tour. Worked with Dance Company 14th Baktun(2013, Canada), Ten Pen Chii(2014, Germany). With JeJu International Experimental Arts Festival(2016), she began to create in Korea with KoPAS.

Strong curiosity is ‘In Between’ on many visible, invisible borders with resonating forgotten spirits in us. In the process of creating and destroying endlessly, finally the question “Who we are” will emerge.

Annabelle, artistically known as ellebannA was born on Ibiza into a creative and open minded environment. Studied costume design and construction for theatre in the UK. With an intense love for fantasy and passion for both costume & performance, the combination led her to creating her own world of Costume Performance. Its the costume that becomes the performance, and its the performance that counts on the costume.

QUANTUM is ellebannAs most recent production which in fact was shown publicly for the first time when participating and hosting Gallery SoToDo 17th congress in Ibiza 2015. Since then QUANTUM quickly became internationally recognised performing in theatres, parties, private events and festivals. In 2016/17 QUANTUM was part of two award winning parties on Ibiza, Acid Sunday and WOOMOON. Recently QUANTUM has traveled to Fusion festival in Germany, BooM festival in Portugal, Clokenflap in Hong Kong, Subsonic in Australia, SoulVision in Brazil and the inspiring Tribal Gathering of Panama. Not only is QUANTUM blowing people’s minds at festivals and parties, it is also highly valued as an art installation/performance within formal exhibitions, as well as for VISUAL meditation exercises.

Also musician (piano, clarinet, singing), he took part in various musical projects and designed sets for theatre.
