Luc Kerléo, sculptor, Nantes (France) 

After my art studies I came to name “sculpture” what I had been doing since my childhood: a way for experimentation of the reality. The main material I use is an invisible one: sound. Most of the machines made for sound doesn't fit to my needs but I design my own machines and I turn normal machines into weird ones. Since 1993 I show sculptures in collective and personnal exhibitions and instant-sculptures in performances event and in the street, at different places in Europe and a bit beyond.

Kathleen Michael - Participating Artist

Kathleen Michael started life in N.Y. and has lived in Europe since 1979 and Berlin since 1983.  Berlin allowed her to develop her 2 art forms: Theatrical Belly Dance and photography.  Contact with Theo DiRicco led to a performance in Gallery So To Do in 1989.  Kathleens roots as an Arab American has contributed to her development as an artist provoking the mainstream with body, mind, and spirit.

Miriam King - Participating Artist

MIRIAM (mim) KING- brief biography:

Miriam King is an Artist/Choreographer/Dancer/Live Artist/Filmmaker born in London , living in Brighton , working internationally. Her professional performance career commenced in 1984. Moving from circus, to visual theatre through to dance, and to live art and film, her most significant training was with Anton Adasinsky & his performance company DEREVO at their former studio in Leningrad, Russia in 1990. Miriam's work is influenced by Butoh dance. She has been creating her own unique performances since 1992, taking her to dance and live art festivals and artist-in-residences around the World. She has researched, lectured and presented work in many countries including France, Belgium, Germany, Czech Republic, Finland , Italy , Portugal , Greece , Iceland , USA , South Korea, China,  New Zealand and Australia. Her award winning dance film work has been shown at Lincoln Centre/ New York, Pompidou Centre/Paris, ICA/London, the Venice Biennial and at the Sydney Opera House. Miriam has a continuing performance relationship with Gallery Kruh, Kostelec nad cernymi Lesy, nr Prague , Czech Republic which commenced in 1992 and an ongoing performance relationship with SoToDo Gallery , Berlin & the Congress of Visual and Performance Art.

Miriam is on the editorial panel for Total Theatre Magazine, regularly contributing articles and reviews. She was a founder member of Movement 12 and also BUTOH Brighton. She is a visiting lecturer teaching Performance and Choreography. Currently head of Movement at Academy of Creative Training. Regularly lectures, leads tours and gives workshops on art for The Hayward Gallery, Southbank Centre, Tate Modern and Tate Britain.

1931 in Solothurn als Sohn eines Notars geboren, machte eine Ausbildung zum Bankkaufmann, bevor er Nationalökonomie und Soziologie in Genf, Bern und Berlin studierte. 1966 wurde Jaeggi erster Inhaber des neuen Lehrstuhls für Soziologie an der Ruhr-Universität Bochum, 1970/71 Gastprofessur in New York, 1972-1992 war er Ordinarius am Institut für Soziologie der FU Berlin. Daneben hat Jaeggi Romane, Erzählungen und Essays veröffentlicht. Seit 1985 Ausstellungen als Maler, Bildhauer und Aktionskünstler. Urs Jaeggi lebt heute in Mexiko und Berlin.

Franz J. Hugo - Participating Artist

Franz J. Hugo, geboren 1964 in Aschaffenburg:

"Wenn man in Berlin wohnt, oder lebt, dann lebt oder wohnt man automatisch angstlos."

Franz J. Hugo ist Initiator des Projektraum Ventilator24 in der Katzbachstraße 24 in Kreuzberg.

Er war bei den Kongressen der Gallery SoToDo in Sacramento, Paris und Bröllin beteiligt.

Mit ____gemelos2000 war er im Rahmen des 1. Performing Arts Festivals Berlin, Mitgastgeber

und Performer während intermezzo____gemelos2000 & guests im Mai 2016.

Mushimaru Fujeda, Tänzer, Choreograph und Regisseur, (*1952 in der Aichi Präfektur in Japan) begann seine künstlerische Laufbahn als Schauspieler und gehörte von 1978-89 der experimentellen Theater- Kompanie "Ishin-ha" an. Danach wurde er als Solo- Performer weltweit bekannt. Ausgezeichnet durch höchstes Lob durch den Dichter Allen Ginsburg in N.Y. City, nannte er sich selbst "Natural Physical  Poet“.

1997 wurde er mit dem Tobita Drama Award ausgezeichnet.

Eine gemischte Gruppe von Tänzern, Musikern und Künstlern formierte sich im Jahr 2000 um Mushimaru Fujieda: „The Physical Poets“

Die Einzigartigkeit dieser Gruppe besteht darin, dass sie sämtliche bis heute existierenden japanischen Tanzformen mit dem weltbekannten zeitgenössischen "Butoh" fusionierten.

Der theatralische Ausdruck der Physical Poets, voller Originalität, unterstützt und begleitet von Live Musik, gespielt auf urtümlichen Instrumenten, sind so schön und mystisch, dass sie an surrealistische Malerei erinnern.
